Bricking of the piers

After an exciting last week (Wednesday) when I turned up and found that we had brickies were on site, things have slowed again.

We returned after a weekend in Melbourne expecting something more had happened (after potentially up to 3 days of work - Thursday, Friday and Monday) and although something had happened it didn't feel like much had happened.

All the PGH Gravel and Commons bricks had been delivered and moved down to site including onto pallets (they shifted some pallets down and then restacked the bricks onsite).
It has taken the 3 guys to move the bricks down using really piled up wheelbarrow of bricks.
Piles of bricks and locked up wheelbarrows
I'm not sure what makes a reject brick or if they are just really bad bricks, but there are a heap of broken and 'rubbish' bricks.  I hope we have enough OK bricks to finish the bearers and joists section.
Piles of rubbish already including broken bricks
The brickies are scheduled to come back on Thursday.  I just hope the sand and anything else they need are delivered by then!
