Progress: Bathroom Tiles

OK here's the update for March 2 to March 6 2015.

We went out on Monday to check on the property's progress... and found that the heating elements for the underfloor heating (ensuite) had been installed!

It's like a snake game
Our laundry tub is there waiting to be installed even though after handover we'll be taking it out again and putting it in the garage (and putting in a bench and drop in sink in the laundry).

I'll have to remember to tell our SS that we don't want the soap dishes installed.  I really dislike them! Too many rusty ones in my lifetime.
Stuff in waiting
The site had been cleared of a lot of rubbish!  Looks good although it does look more steep now!

Just some pallets left for PGH to pick up
We were about to leave for the evening and then look what turned up!?  Tile delivery!

A welcome visitor!

You want tiles with that?

It was a difficult site to negotiate with a load of tiles on it.

Glad I'm not driving!

Our next opportunity was Friday to visit.  And yes some of the tiles had been installed!

Marked with "do not walk" on them

Looks totally different to memory!
And confirming the bad news.  The vanity sits on the floor.  The tiles abut the vanity and aren't under the vanity.  Let's hope the vanity is made of stuff that doesn't swell when damp.  And that we get spare tiles.

Tiles still in the box

We found the feature tiles in the kitchen waiting too...

Feature tiles will be laid "European" style...

We found the door for the Home Theatre hung but think it may be the wrong one.  It's our only 920mm door that is on hinges so can't really be wrong but I think they have ordered the wrong one.  Has been added to my list to check during PCI or next walk through.
Home theatre door is meant to be solid core
One of the rooms where "The Fixer" has done his work.  Architraves, cornices and skirting all in.
Room looking more finished
Upgraded drainage things (Bermuda)

You all know I love the courtyard, and now the fc infills have been painted!  It's looking good and not as bad as I have been worried about :)  It's meant to have been painted Monument but I'm glad it's looking quite black!

Painted fc infills and eaves
We are a bit worried about whatever that pipe thing is that is sticking out of the fascia.  Another thing to add to the list.  Any idea what this is?

I think we will have space for a bit of a herb garden to the right of the BBQ space which will go on this wall:
BBQ wall... should have space for a herb garden too
